Buluan Falls, Datu Salumay

Buluan Falls, Datu Salumay

Our original plan for the day after our Mt. Nangalid climb was the Cascading Falls of Arakan, North Cotabato. It was just after our climb that our guide offered us the Buluan Falls just an hour trek away from Mt.Nangalid. It was so hot that time that we decided to check the falls and dip for a little then we'll go to Cascading Falls.

Marilog District, BuDa

This is my 2nd time at the place. The 1st time we went here, our guide said that the next time we'll visit, we needed to be early so we can witness it's sea of clouds view. So I invited some of my friends to do an early morning trek to Mt. Nangalid.

Gambodes Falls, Arakan, North Cotabato

LaagERRAH: Gambodes Falls, Arakan

It's always been our tradition to instead of hosting a party for our baby's birthday, we instead travel. She had been to different places in Mindanao - Saranggani beaches, Surigao waterfalls and enchanted rivers, overlooking mountain ranges of South Cotabato, etc. Which then gave me a hard time thinking where will we bring her on her 6th birthday.

Maguindanao, MagandaNow

Maguindanao, MagandaNow

This quote captured me. I've been searching for new places to travel, new mountains to climb, new waterfalls to chase, when I came to a post regarding Maguindanao. When we say Maguindanao, first things that come across our minds are Rebels, Massacre, War... Amidst those stuffs, I was in awe looking at the photos of the spots in Maguindanao. Which then led me to decide to go and explore.

Mt. Loay, Sta. Cruz

Mt. Loay, Sta. Cruz

Every time I go home to Gensan from Davao, I always see this mountain when passing by Sta. Cruz. I always chose this side of the bus to have a good view of this mountain. I was even asking some friends if they know the name of the mountain or if they have some itineraries. I even followed Sta. Cruz FB Page to get updates. Haha! Kinda have this feeling that this mountain is always calling me and so I must go!

Dayhike: Mt. Apo

Dayhike: Mt. Apo

We initially planned to do a Mt. Apo hike by December of 2018. But when an invite came from a friend for a Mt. Apo Dayhike, we couldn't say no! Haha! Considering that this will be our First Major Climb, why not right? Actually, we were very nervous in doing this. I mean, Mt Apo is the highest mountain in the Philippines! Climbing it is already considered Major. How much more, doing a dayhike! Anyways, as of this writing, we were already back to our normal days at work, so that means, we survived! Wuhooo!
